Isolating and treating genetic health issues: MTHFR and schizophrenia image
The MTHFR gene mutations cause mental illness as well as medical health issues.

This is a type of mental illness which can be directly treated by giving the correct form of B9, folate, instead of expecting the body to deal with folic acid.

One of the medical conditions that comes from this is spina bifida and other neural tube defects if pregnant woman does not get enough of a form of folate that her body can handle. Methylfolate is suggested, in general, and it's starting to be used in vitamins now. Supposedly, one reference that was not peer-reviewed suggested folinic acid be given for the baby as well. I provide this as a direction to look for research, to see whether this would actually be beneficial. I have no personal knowledge on it.

From peer review documents, this is medically recognized.

I will clean this up later, but the article chose to specific mutations of the gene which cause schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder and suggests that knowing this allows us to do Gene specific treatment. In other words, if you have these two genetic variations, they can directly treat, probably with removing folic acid from the diet and putting in other forms of B9, getting rid of psychiatric ailments without anyway or nearly as much neurotoxic chemicals with beneficial psychiatric side effects, psychiatric medications, and almost certainly will reduce the comorbidities on the medical side as well.

I will add further documentation from other. Documents as I run into them.

My conclusion is that we can treat mental and medical illnesses, directly at the cause, in some cases, if nutrition and a direct Gene to confirm that this person needs this certain treatment, is known.

In this case there are correlations with spina bifida and neural tube defects in the family to show that this is the direction to look for treatment.

In the case of autism and Asperger's, losing, causing a low tolerance of the increase in folate do to it prioritizing the zinc away from building the baby's brain will show when someone is liable to have pyrrole syndrome, and possibly copper overload.

By looking at groups of comorbidities, we should be able to pinpoint such health issues which cause medical and psychiatric ailments.

The problem which has plagued doctors is that the body has many ways to handle an excess or shortage by putting in the intracellular into different locations, such as psychiatric medications causing problems with the reproductive organs and the ability to use or want to use them. Erectile dysfunction, as an example is the body's way of assigning a shortage of nutrients to an area that is not in constant use, and thereby allowing the heart brain lungs kidneys liver pancreas to get the nutrition that they need, because they are in constant use.

If we can group the most likely conditions together, by adding 5 or 10 symptoms, we can pinpoint what the most likely culprits are, and start treating them. Instead of one treatment for each condition and minor symptoms such as fatty lipomas or nailed deformations being ignored, and major conditions with age being considered merely an age problem even though all older people don't get them, we will be able to use the groupings to pinpoint the condition most likely, treat it, and get rid of all the problems at once, or, more likely, minimize them to the point that very few require medical treatment, and the patient's comfort and life and health will be improved.

And also the doctors will be less frustrated when some of the problems which have previously been unresponsive, because the body puts more of the issue into the treated condition because it becomes a convenient way of handling it, go away.
