Coronavirus has found a way to convince the body not to create interferon in the lungs, a chemical which tells the immune system where to go. If interferon can be created in an aerosol form, it could be sprayed into the lungs when there is shortness of breath from Coronavirus.

Whether we have the technology to do that, and a safe way to get it to the parts of the lung that are in need of it without putting it where it is not wanted is something that may need to be worked on.

Where is shortness of breath continues past Coronavirus, especially along with conditions of anemia including things like lack of appetite, it should be remembered that where zinc is deficient, copper is orphan in excess, and copper in excess or in deficiency can cause an iron deficiency. That could be a contributing factor to shortness of breath, and one that could be confusing as to whether a patient is still suffering Coronavirus or whether they have an iron deficiency, or both.

Obviously any ill health in a patient is going to make them more susceptible to damage during Coronavirus. As there are people who have iron deficiency before Coronavirus, this is just one more complication putting their health at risk and causing problems for those treating them.
